AdGuard Home | v0.107.79

AdGuard Home v0.107.79 released on 18-08-2026

AdGuard Home v0.107.79 is out now. It brings security hardening and a collection of API, UI and DNS fixes that reduce attack surface and tidy up edge-case behaviour for deployments.

See the release notes and the GitHub milestone on the AdGuard Home repository for full details, upgrade instructions and the complete changelog.

What’s in this release

  • Updated the bundled Go toolchain to include fixes from Go 1.26.6 and added protections to make DNS-over-QUIC (DoQ) more resistant to resource-exhaustion attacks (GHSA-w6v6-f44j-3rj2); reporter acknowledged as @ATinyShoe.
  • API and configuration improvements: bootstrap servers config now supports comments; new “language” property added to POST /control/install/check_config and POST /control/install/configure APIs; HTTP API now allows removing a static lease’s hostname.
  • UI and DNS behaviour changes: the edge channel has switched to the new UI and versioning scheme and the strict_sni_check option is marked deprecated; fixes for DNS64 treating unresolved CNAME/DNAME as final and for blocked requests missing an EDNS(0) OPT record (issues #7514 and #8183).

Upgrade notes

  • The strict_sni_check option is deprecated — review any configuration relying on it and prepare to remove or replace that setting according to your policy; consult the GitHub release notes for guidance.
  • There are no special rollback steps in the release notes; if required, revert to the previous release tag from the AdGuard Home GitHub repository.
