Argo CD v3.4.5 released on 09-07-2026

Argo CD v3.4.5 is out now. Operators get immediate install paths for both Non‑HA and HA deployments, and the release emphasises supply‑chain security with signed images and provenance metadata.
See the raw manifests, the operator documentation and the full changelog for commands and verification steps: the install manifests and verification docs are linked below along with the release comparison and blog post.
What’s in this release
- Quick Start: immediate install commands — create the argocd namespace then apply the v3.4.5 manifests server-side with forced conflicts. Non‑HA: kubectl apply -n argocd –server-side –force-conflicts -f https://raw.githubusercontent.com/argoproj/argo-cd/v3.4.5/manifests/install.yaml; HA: kubectl apply -n argocd –server-side –force-conflicts -f https://raw.githubusercontent.com/argoproj/argo-cd/v3.4.5/manifests/ha/install.yaml.
- Release signatures and provenance: all Argo CD container images are signed with cosign and provenance metadata is generated for container images and CLI binaries that meet SLSA Level 3 — see the operator documentation for verification: https://argo-cd.readthedocs.io/en/stable/operator-manual/signed-release-assets.
- Notable bug fixes backported to 3.4: reposerver now honours referenced-source depth; SSA no longer triggers an auth reconcile; auto‑sync race where newer commits could be skipped fixed; deleted resources were incorrectly shown in the UI; “replace” no longer clobbers non‑ignored fields; and a regression in Dex config env var substitution was fixed.
