Argo CD v3.4.6 released on 31-07-2026

Argo CD v3.4.6 is out now. Cluster operators and platform engineers can follow exact kubectl commands to install Argo CD in non‑HA or HA modes and get a deployment up and running quickly.
See the GitHub release and the official documentation for installation commands, signature and provenance verification, and the full changelog.
What’s in this release
- Quick Start & installation: exact kubectl commands for non‑HA and HA installs (create the argocd namespace and apply the appropriate install.yaml or ha/install.yaml using –server-side with –force-conflicts).
- Signed releases & provenance: all Argo CD container images are signed with cosign; provenance artifacts are produced for container images and CLI binaries that meet SLSA Level 3, with documentation on how to verify.
- Bug fixes & notable fixes: cherry‑picked fixes for appset fallback to create when patch returns NotFound; avoid dropping manager‑owned descendant fields during diff filtering; pass Helm registry passwords through stdin; mount argocd-cmd-params-cm in repo-server so pprof can be enabled; only perform annotation backfill when live is unset; progressive sync fixes; use Entra ID uti as token id fallback when jti is absent; and use OIDC refresh tokens to renew expired sessions.
