Argo CD v3.5.0 released on 04-08-2026

Argo CD v3.5.0 is out now. Improved supply‑chain security (signed images and provenance) plus ApplicationSet, Source Hydrator and UI upgrades target reliability and scale for teams running many applications.

Install and upgrade instructions, the v3.5.0 manifests and the full changelog are available on the project pages — check the install manifests under the v3.5.0 tag and the release notes for verification steps and details.

What’s in this release

  • Quick start and install manifests for non‑HA and HA clusters (apply the v3.5.0 install.yaml or ha/install.yaml with server‑side apply and –force-conflicts).
  • Supply‑chain hardening: all container images are signed with cosign and provenance for images and CLI binaries is produced to meet SLSA Level 3, with documentation for verification.
  • Major features and UX work: ApplicationSet scalability and UX (concurrency, preview apps, AppSet visible in resource tree and support in any namespace), Source Hydrator promoted toward beta with opt‑in dry source integrity, and multiple UI, Helm and integration improvements (Helm 4 migration, wildcard valueFiles, mTLS in repo-server, GHCR webhook support, Azure DevOps SP auth, Gateway API support).
