Argo CD v3.5.1 released on 12-08-2026
Argo CD v3.5.1 is out now. Installs are simplified with explicit quick-start manifests and server-side apply for both non‑HA and HA, and the release adds signed images and provenance for stronger supply‑chain assurances.

What’s in this release
- Quick start and install: create the argocd namespace and apply the supplied manifests with server-side apply and –force-conflicts for non‑HA and HA (manifests URLs provided).
- Signed releases and provenance: all container images are signed with cosign and provenance artifacts are produced for container images and CLI binaries meeting SLSA Level 3; verification steps are in the operator manual.
- Bug fixes and controller/AppSet improvements: notable fixes include stopping progressive sync reconciling in a tight loop (AppSet), verifying terminating Applications against the API server, treating timeout.reconciliation=0 as disabled soft expiry, reusing server-side diff results when masking Secret data, using the diff cache when reconciliation timeout is disabled, preventing SSD CLI secret mask spoofing, and hiding secrets in last-applied-configuration annotations.
