Argo CD | v3.5.2

Argo CD v3.5.2 released on 27-08-2026

Argo CD v3.5.2 is out now. It provides immediate install instructions for non‑HA and HA deployments, ships cosign‑signed images with provenance metadata meeting SLSA Level 3, and includes a set of bug fixes that improve sync reliability, UI visibility and controller robustness.

Refer to the Argo CD GitHub release, the operator documentation for signature verification, and the full changelog for install commands, verification steps and detailed commit notes.

What’s in this release

  • Quick start manifests for fast installs: apply the v3.5.2 install.yaml for single‑instance or ha/install.yaml for HA from raw.githubusercontent.com (see the release notes for exact commands).
  • Signed releases and provenance: all container images are cosign‑signed and provenance is generated for images and CLI binaries meeting SLSA Level 3; documentation shows how to verify signatures and provenance.
  • Bug fixes and stability work including restoration of ignoreApplicationDifferences after normalization (AppSet), resolving untyped Helm source types in revision updates, fixing auto‑sync skipping when a newer commit arrives, UI fixes (remove kind filter from AppSet page, show operation state on applications list), improved cluster health handling during provisioning, recovery from kubectl panic in AuthReconcile, and notification‑controller cache fixes.

Upgrade notes

  • Dependency update: dex bumped to v2.45.1. If you are moving between minor versions, read the Argo CD upgrading documentation before you upgrade.
  • If you need to roll back, consult the full changelog/compare view (v3.5.1…v3.5.2) and revert to the previous release as appropriate.

Share comments on your upgrade or deployment experience on the Argo CD GitHub so others can benefit from any notes or edge cases you encounter.
