Argo CD | v3.5.3

Argo CD v3.5.3 released on 14-09-2026

Argo CD v3.5.3 is out now. Operators get updated non‑HA and HA install manifests, signed container images and provenance that meet SLSA Level 3 — practical improvements for deployment and supply‑chain verification.

See the GitHub release, the official blog post and the operator‑manual for full release notes, install commands and verification guidance.

What’s in this release

  • Quick Start: non‑HA and HA install commands using server-side apply and –force-conflicts are provided (see the v3.5.3 manifests on the project raw URLs).
  • Release signatures and provenance: all Argo CD container images are signed with cosign and provenance metadata is produced for container images and CLI binaries meeting SLSA Level 3; documentation explains how to verify signatures and provenance.
  • Notable bug fixes backported to 3.5.3, including: KubeVirt VirtualMachine declared stopped now reported Healthy; suspended FlinkDeployment reported Healthy appropriately; repositories cleaned on revision changes; Crossplane managed resources report Progressing while provisioning; fixes to operationState on sync retry and several UI and health‑check corrections. See the full changelog for the complete list.

Upgrade notes

  • If you are upgrading across minor versions, review the official upgrading documentation (operator-manual/upgrading/overview) for breaking changes, migration steps and recommended procedures.
  • Refer to the full changelog and the GitHub compare between v3.5.2 and v3.5.3 for commit diffs and the detailed list of fixes.

If you try the new release, share your experience or any issues on the project’s GitHub so others can benefit from your notes.
