ESPHome 2026.6.5 released on 09-07-2026

ESPHome 2026.6.5 is out now. Users who rely on the bundled esphome-device-builder receive a sequence of automated dependency bumps, finishing with a non-trivial 1.1.0 bundle.

See the release on GitHub for full details and the official release notes: https://api.github.com/repos/esphome/esphome/releases/latest

What’s in this release

  • Incremental bumps of the bundled esphome-device-builder from 1.0.24 through 1.0.29, applied by the esphome[bot] (PRs #17332, #17333, #17369, #17370, #17382, #17384).
  • Final bump of the bundled esphome-device-builder to 1.1.0 (PR #17412); as a non-trivial version increase, it may include changes or new features.
  • All changes were automated package bumps; no other user-facing features or configuration schema changes are listed.

Upgrade notes

  • No configuration schema changes are indicated; if you use the bundled device-builder, rebuild and test your device firmware after updating.
  • If you encounter regressions, revert to the previous ESPHome release or consult the release details at the link above for troubleshooting.
