HomeAssistant Core 2026.6.0 is out now. It brings user-facing UI and automation improvements, expanded integrations and device support, and developer-facing API changes and deprecations that matter to integrators and power users.

What’s in this release

  • User-facing UI and automation improvements — enhancements to Lovelace/dashboard experience, updates to the Automation and Scene editors, new or improved automation actions, triggers and templates, plus energy dashboard and EV/charging workflow changes.
  • Integrations and device support — new integrations and notable updates to device platforms, improved discovery and pairing flows, device-specific feature upgrades and migration notes for changed behaviour.
  • Developer changes, APIs & deprecations — API and websocket updates, template and YAML schema changes, entity/registry adjustments, and removed or deprecated features with guidance for custom component authors.
