HomeAssistant Core 2026.6.3 released on 12-06-2026

HomeAssistant Core 2026.6.3 is out now. Home users and integrators benefit from core fixes, dependency updates and targeted integration patches that improve stability, privacy and discovery behaviour.

Check the Home Assistant Core GitHub release notes and the relevant integration docs for full details and upgrade instructions.

What’s in this release

  • Revert of the change to unify query token authentication in HTTP views (affects camera, media_player, http, image and brands).
  • MQTT discovery no longer re-enables entities that users have previously disabled, and Alexa diagnostics now redact additional fields to protect sensitive data.
  • Multiple dependency bumps and integration fixes, including reolink_aio, aioamazondevices, pytrydan, hassil and bthome-ble; fixes for Hue sensor crashes, image upload thumbnail conversion, Thread border agent refresh and an updated frontend.

Upgrade notes

  • Because the query-token-auth change was reverted, check any integrations that relied on the unified behaviour (camera, media_player, http, image, brands) and test access after upgrading.
  • If you encounter problems after upgrading, restore your previous Home Assistant Core release and report issues via the GitHub tracker or community forum; consult the release page for the assets you need.

Share your experience — report any regressions or confirm fixes on the Home Assistant community channels or the project’s GitHub so others can benefit.
