HomeAssistant Core 2026.7.0 is out now. It delivers a major refresh to automations and scheduling, improved device and integration stability (Zigbee, Z‑Wave, Bluetooth, Matter) and enhanced energy monitoring and analytics.

What’s in this release

  • Redesigned automation editor with richer triggers and actions, native support for complex schedules (sun offsets, repeating ranges, calendar-aware rules), improved template functions and debugging tools, and faster rule execution with reduced latency for time-based automations.
  • Device and integration improvements: better Zigbee and Z‑Wave stability and rejoin workflows, enhanced Bluetooth scanning and connection reliability, broader Matter interoperability and discovery, plus new integrations and fixes for device registry edge cases.
  • Energy dashboard and consumption analytics updates: finer-grained per-device energy reporting, improved solar/EV/charger support, more accurate forecasting and cost calculations, and richer visualisation options.
