HomeAssistant Core 2026.7.2 released on 10-07-2026

HomeAssistant Core 2026.7.2 is out now. It stores recovery HTTP configuration with the full trusted-proxy network to preserve correct client addressing and refreshes the hassio coordinator after OS updates, improving reliability for HTTP recovery scenarios and Supervisor-managed OS updates.
See the Home Assistant Core release notes on the project’s GitHub for full details and the complete list of changes.
What’s in this release
- Store recovery HTTP config with the full trusted-proxy network to preserve correct client addressing and improve HTTP recovery handling.
- Refresh the hassio coordinator after OS update installs so the Supervisor state reflects recent changes.
- Multiple Teslemetry fixes: trigger re-auth on LoginRequired errors, stop insufficient-credits polling storms, correct covers reporting when telemetry is missing, and fix cabin overheat-protection restored temperatures.
Upgrade notes
- No breaking changes are explicitly called out in the release notes; package constraints do pin cffi to 2.0.0 — check custom integrations or build environments that depend on other cffi versions.
- If you need guidance on rolling back or encounter issues, consult the GitHub release notes and project documentation for recommended rollback procedures.
Try the update and share your experience or any issues on the project’s GitHub so maintainers and the community can follow up.
