HomeAssistant Core 2026.7.4 released on 24-07-2026

HomeAssistant Core 2026.7.4 is out now. Users connecting Home Assistant to Proxmox VE with mixed- or upper-case realm names should see successful logins after this release.

See the HomeAssistant Core GitHub release for the full notes and download links.

What’s in this release

  • Fix for ProxmoxVE integration failing authentication when realms contain upper-case letters — no configuration changes required.
  • enphase_envoy diagnostics: fixes fixture downloads when responses are not UTF‑8 encoded, avoiding download/parsing failures.
  • Dependency bumps: core networking libraries updated (aiohttp → 3.14.3, yarl → 1.24.5) and integration package updates (yoto-api → 4.3.2, pybravia → 0.5.1, pylamarzocco → 2.4.3).

Upgrade notes

  • No configuration changes are required to pick up the ProxmoxVE or Envoy fixes — upgrade as normal via your usual Home Assistant Core update method.
  • If you need to revert, reinstall the previous Home Assistant Core release using your standard rollback procedure.

Let us know how the update went — share any issues or feedback on the integration issue trackers or the Home Assistant community.
