HomeAssistant Core 2026.8.3 is out now. Users of media, TV and camera integrations benefit from playback artwork, crash fixes and smarter camera session handling.

What’s in this release
- Show artwork and a play button when opening a Sonos music library album.
- Fix Vizio media player crash when volume is missing from audio settings.
- go2rtc now removes only the failing camera sessions so working streams are not torn down.
Upgrade notes
- Removed use of default_device_info in several integrations (device_tracker, dlna_dmr, fritz, netgear, unifi, wake_on_lan) — check device reporting and the device registry after upgrading.
- Overkiz local gateway rediscovery had a host update reverted to avoid regressions; if you encounter problems, review Overkiz rediscovery behaviour and revert to the previous release using your normal downgrade procedure if necessary.
