Immich | v3.2.1

Immich v3.2.1 released on 14-09-2026

Immich v3.2.1 is out now. It reduces sync failures and improves database and index health, while polishing web search, timeline behaviour and people/face handling.

See the full changelog and individual pull requests on GitHub for details and installation notes: https://github.com/immich-app/immich/compare/v3.2.0…v3.2.1

What’s in this release

  • Server and sync reliability fixes — connection-pool exhaustion during sync addressed and a sync client disconnect bug fixed to improve long-running sync stability.
  • Web UI, search and timeline fixes — search modal bugs resolved, search type is preserved, timeline scroll behaviour and asset-archive handling improved, and hover/label affordances polished.
  • People and faces fixes — partner-shared assets now appear on the People page, person-merge behaviour improved, face metadata extraction and updates ignore soft-deleted faces, and face label clipping corrected.

Upgrade notes

  • Migrations now run VACUUM afterwards and concurrent reindex problems were handled; run your usual database migrations and consult the changelog if you manage manual migration steps.
  • Upgrade to v3.2.1 to pick up the sync and UI fixes; consult the full changelog on GitHub for the complete list of fixes and the linked pull requests.

Share comments on your experience after upgrading — notes on sync behaviour or any remaining edge cases are particularly useful.
