Immich | v3.2.1

Immich v3.2.1 released on 14-09-2026

Immich v3.2.1 is out now. The update focuses on server and sync stability and improves people/faces handling and front-end polish to reduce sync failures, database contention and UI glitches.

See the full changelog on GitHub for the complete list of fixes and PRs.

What’s in this release

  • Server and sync stability fixes — resolves connection-pool exhaustion during sync, addresses sync-client disconnects, runs VACUUM after migrations and prevents concurrent reindex runs.
  • People and faces improvements — partner-shared assets now appear on the People page; face metadata extraction and feature-face updates correctly handle soft-deleted faces; people-merge behaviour (including merging two named people) was improved.
  • Web UI, search and timeline polish — fixes for the new search modal and preserving search type, corrected “View asset owners” toggle label, timeline scrolling and archived-asset visibility, face label clipping, duplicates utility hover paths and the untagged-search button restored.

Upgrade notes

  • No breaking changes are listed in the release notes; consult the full changelog on GitHub before upgrading.
  • If you need to revert, install the previous release (v3.2.0) while you investigate any issues.
