k3s v1.35.4+k3s1 is out now. It includes an upstream Kubernetes bump to v1.35.4, bringing the patch-level bug fixes and security updates from that Kubernetes release.

- Kubernetes upgraded to v1.35.4, incorporating upstream bug fixes and security patches (see Kubernetes changelog).
- Embedded component updates: flannel v0.28.4, Traefik 3.6.13, containerd v2.2.3-k3s1, etcd v3.6.7-k3s1, Kine v0.14.16, CoreDNS v1.14.2, metrics-server v0.8.1, helm-controller v0.17.1, local-path-provisioner v0.0.35, SQLite 3.51.3, and runc v1.4.2.
- Build and release workflow changes: Go 1.25.9, immutable release changes, a repo state change from draft to pre-release, and April 2026 backports included for downstream stability.
