k3s v1.35.4+k3s1 released on 27-04-2026
k3s v1.35.4+k3s1 is out now. It delivers the upstream Kubernetes v1.35.4 upgrade, bringing the security and bug fixes from that Kubernetes release to k3s operators and cluster administrators.

What’s in this release
- Kubernetes bumped to v1.35.4 — k3s now tracks v1.35.4 and includes the upstream security and bug fixes referenced in the Kubernetes changelog.
- Embedded components and toolchain updates: Kine v0.14.16, Etcd v3.6.7-k3s1, Containerd v2.2.3-k3s1, Runc v1.4.2, Flannel v0.28.4, Traefik v3.6.13, CoreDNS v1.14.2, Metrics-server v0.8.1, Helm-controller v0.17.1, Local-path-provisioner v0.0.35, SQLite 3.51.3, and Go 1.25.9.
- Project fixes and backports since v1.35.3+k3s1, including immutable release changes, the April 2026 backport batch, a fix for SANs added from comma-separated node-external-ip lists, and a klipper-helm image bump to address a revision check issue; the release state was moved from draft to pre-release.
