n8n n8n@2.31.7 released on 27-07-2026

n8n n8n@2.31.7 is out now. Improves audit performance by avoiding unnecessary execution-data loads and fixes S3 presigned URL signing with strict RFC 3986 encoding for better compatibility.

See the full changeset on GitHub for details: compare n8n@2.31.6…n8n@2.31.7.

What’s in this release

  • Avoids loading execution data during credentials security audits, reducing resource use and the risk of exposing execution content (issue #34912, commit 0b61a96).
  • Signs S3 object paths for presigned URLs using strict RFC 3986 encoding, resolving failures and authentication errors with some S3-compatible storage (issue #34873, commit 75b0d34).
  • Pull request routed through staging and Cubic review tooling (stagereview.app and cubic.dev); these are review badges only and do not affect runtime behaviour.

Upgrade notes

  • No breaking changes reported; safe to upgrade. Review the GitHub compare and the linked issues for details before deploying.
  • To roll back if needed, reinstall the previous release (n8n@2.31.6).
