n8n n8n@2.34.5 released on 12-08-2026

n8n n8n@2.34.5 is out now. It fixes TLS handling for requests that traverse a proxy so TLS options are applied per hop rather than globally, addressing issues when using proxies, mutual TLS or custom trust stores.
See the release on GitHub for the changelog and downloads: https://api.github.com/repos/n8n-io/n8n/releases/latest
What’s in this release
- Apply TLS options per hop when outbound requests go through a proxy (fix for issue #36017, commit 01a52b4)
- TLS configuration such as certificate validation, client certificates, and TLS version/cipher settings are now applied for each hop
- Resolves problems seen when using proxies with mutual TLS or custom trust stores for external API calls
Upgrade notes
- Users running n8n behind proxies or using mutual TLS/custom TLS options should upgrade and then verify flows that call external APIs through a proxy; check logs for TLS/handshake errors and validate credentials and webhook integrations that rely on proxy paths
- The change is focused and expected to be backward compatible for users not using proxies or custom TLS settings. If you see regressions, roll back to your previous version and open a GitHub issue with reproduction steps and logs, referencing issue #36017 and commit 01a52b4
