n8n n8n@2.35.4 released on 19-08-2026

n8n n8n@2.35.4 is out now. It’s a patch release with two bug fixes and two small features that matter for route discovery, Google Ads workflows, AI Assistant onboarding telemetry and managed OAuth visibility.

See the full release on the project’s GitHub release page: https://api.github.com/repos/n8n-io/n8n/releases/latest

What’s in this release

  • API: restore returning a request schema for decorator routes on /discover, fixing route discovery and tooling that depend on the discover output.
  • Google Ads node: select the renamed “video views” metric on API v25 to prevent broken metrics when querying video view data.
  • Features: add AI Assistant setup funnel telemetry, and allow showing OAuth scopes for managed credentials via N8N_MANAGED_OAUTH_SHOW_SCOPES.

Upgrade notes

  • No breaking changes are listed for this patch; after upgrading, check workflows that query Google Ads video views to confirm the metric selection behaves as expected.
  • If you need to roll back, revert to your previous deployment image or tag (for example n8n@2.35.3) using your normal rollback procedure and consult the GitHub release for details.

Share any comments on your upgrade experience or unexpected behaviour — feedback helps maintainers and other users spot regressions or gaps in the notes.
