What’s in this release
- Core bug fix: raised AI Assistant model verification token limit to accept longer tokens (fix in commit f87affed36c476ab472b52e797ad1cf59ba59058).
- Resolves token-length-related errors for users integrating AI Assistant models that use long verification tokens.
- Fix tracked in issue #36798 and implemented via PR #36798.
Upgrade notes
- No schema migrations or breaking changes are indicated; upgrade if you use the AI Assistant or configure model verification tokens to avoid token-length failures. Review the change set and the CI review (Cubic PR preview) before rolling out to production.
- Rollback: if needed, revert to the previous release (n8n@2.35.6); there are no special migration steps required.
If you run into any issues or want to report behaviour with long verification tokens, leave a comment on issue #36798 or on the GitHub release page.
