n8n n8n@2.38.7 released on 11-09-2026

n8n n8n@2.38.7 is out now. It fixes execution so MCP toolkit members run on worker processes rather than only the main process, reuses existing consent grants when a visitor authenticates mid‑flow to avoid duplicate grants, and honours GIT_SSL_CAINFO for Git HTTPS remotes to address failures with private or custom CAs.
See the n8n GitHub release page for the full changelog, commit links and any upgrade guidance.
What’s in this release
- Execute MCP toolkit members on workers — fixes execution so toolkit members run on worker processes instead of only on the main process.
- Reuse existing consent grant after visitor authenticates mid-flow — reuses a consent grant when a visitor authenticates partway through a workflow, preventing duplicate grants.
- Trust GIT_SSL_CAINFO CA for HTTPS source control remotes — n8n now respects the CA provided via GIT_SSL_CAINFO when accessing Git HTTPS remotes, fixing failures with private or custom certificate authorities.
