Nextcloud v32.0.14 released on 13-08-2026

Nextcloud v32.0.14 is out now. Administrators should upgrade promptly: the release backports security patches and includes urgent stability fixes that address access-control issues, injection/XSS vectors in the web UI and shares, CSRF/authorization edge-cases and other vulnerabilities.

See the official release notes on GitHub for full details, downloads and checks: github.com/nextcloud-releases/server/releases/tag/v32.0.14.

What’s in this release

  • Security hardening and backported patches addressing access-control problems, injection/XSS vectors in the web UI and shares, CSRF/authorization edge-cases and additional vulnerabilities.
  • Files, sync and sharing fixes including WebDAV/file-locking edge cases, improved handling of deleted and conflicting files, more reliable preview generation, fixes for external storage adapters and corrected permission and public-link behaviour.
  • Federation, collaboration and notification fixes: more reliable remote share discovery and acceptance, corrected group and federated share permissions, fixes to comments and activity streams, and improved notification consistency for desktop and mobile clients.

Upgrade notes

  • Follow the admin-facing upgrade guidance: perform the recommended pre-upgrade steps, confirm PHP and database compatibility, and run post-upgrade verification commands such as integrity checks and log inspection.
  • If a rollback is required, consult the release notes for the documented rollback considerations and coordinate app updates across instances before restoring a previous state.

Share comments on your upgrade experience or any issues you encounter so other admins can learn from real-world results.
