NocoDB 2026.05.0 released on 08-05-2026
NocoDB 2026.05.0 is out now. Multi-Column Field Layout, Custom Display Value for linked records and a restored multi-field link-picker search improve form layout, link clarity and picker performance.

What’s in this release
- Multi-Column Field Layout in Forms — group related inputs side-by-side (up to five per row); Long Text, Attachment and JSON remain full-width; layouts persist to shared form URLs and rows collapse to one column on screens under 768px. Available on Cloud Plus+ and self-hosted Enterprise.
- Custom Display Value on Linked Records — override the primary display per link (email, external ID, tier, etc.); the choice appears wherever the linked record is shown and is preserved across export, import and base duplication. Available on Cloud Plus+ and self-hosted Enterprise.
- Multi-Field Link Picker Search restored — the link picker now matches across multiple fields again and uses virtual scrolling with a chunked cache for responsiveness on large tables; available across all plans.
Upgrade notes
- Multi-Column Field Layout and Custom Display Value are paid features (Cloud Plus+ and self-hosted Enterprise). Check your plan or licence and the docs before upgrading.
- Snapshot creation and restore received fixes (date import, name validation and title sanitisation); consult the changelog when planning rollbacks or restores.
