Get downloads, SHA256 checksums and the full changelog from the GitHub release and dl.influxdata.com/telegraf/releases.
What’s in this release
- disk-buffer now caches buffer length when closing to avoid a panic when running with –once.
- inputs.chrony applies a read timeout so lost responses do not block collection.
- Dependency bumps across many libraries, including go.opentelemetry.io/collector/pdata to 1.62.0 and google.golang.org/grpc to 1.82.0, improving compatibility and stability.
Upgrade notes
- inputs.azure_monitor defers target validation to startup — review your inputs.azure_monitor config since some validation errors will now surface at startup.
- If you need to roll back, previous packages remain available from dl.influxdata.com/telegraf/releases; reinstall the prior package for your platform and verify the SHA256 checksum.
