Telegraf | v1.39.3

Telegraf v1.39.3 released on 10-08-2026

Telegraf v1.39.3 is out now. It delivers targeted bug fixes across inputs, parsers, processors and serializers, together with a broad set of dependency bumps and prebuilt packages for many platforms.

See the project’s GitHub release page for the full notes and download binaries (published at dl.influxdata.com) including SHA256 checksums for each package.

What’s in this release

  • inputs.cisco_telemetry_mdt now checks attribute message length to avoid malformed or overlong messages
  • inputs.execd properly respects Influx parser parameters, correcting parsing behaviour
  • serializers.prometheusremotewrite accumulates multiple samples per series within a batch to prevent sample loss or misaggregation

Upgrade notes

  • No breaking changes are listed for v1.39.3; test inputs.execd parsing and the prometheusremotewrite batching behaviour in staging before a wide rollout, and verify you download the correct package for your OS/architecture and confirm the SHA256 checksum.
  • If you need to revert, reinstall a prior release and ensure downloaded packages match their checksums before restarting production services.

Try the release and share comments on your experience via the project’s GitHub issue tracker or community channels so others can learn from your rollout notes.
