Traefik v3.7.8 released on 15-07-2026

Traefik v3.7.8 is out now. It restores the missing ErrorRequestHeaders field in the Kubernetes CRDs, sanitises rewritten targets for the ingress-nginx provider, fixes a panic in the retry middleware affecting WebSocket connections and removes a misleading cert-resolver error from logs — practical fixes for Kubernetes and WebSocket users.
See Traefik’s GitHub release notes and the updated documentation for full details and the recommended upgrade steps.
What’s in this release
- Add missing ErrorRequestHeaders field to Kubernetes CRDs so middleware error request header configuration is exposed in manifests and validation.
- Sanitise rewritten targets in the ingress-nginx provider to prevent malformed or unsafe upstream target values.
- Fix panic in the retry middleware when handling WebSocket connections, preventing crashes for affected traffic.
Upgrade notes
- CRD change: ErrorRequestHeaders is now present in the CRD schemas — if you manage middleware via CRDs, re-apply or validate the updated CRD manifests so the field is exposed and accepted.
- No known breaking changes; if you need to revert, follow your normal rollback procedure to return to the prior release.
