Traefik v3.7.8 released on 15-07-2026

Traefik v3.7.8 is out now. It restores a missing ErrorRequestHeaders field in middleware CRDs, sanitises rewritten targets from the ingress-nginx provider to avoid malformed targets, and fixes a panic in the retry middleware for WebSocket connections—improving stability and CRD schema completeness.
See the Traefik GitHub release notes for full details, links to the individual fixes, and the documentation updates referenced in the changelog.
What’s in this release
- Adds the missing ErrorRequestHeaders field to middleware and Kubernetes CRDs to complete the CRD schema.
- Sanitises rewritten targets produced by the ingress-nginx provider; Kubernetes documentation updated to align certificateRef usage and clarify port handling.
- Fixes a panic in the retry middleware when handling WebSocket connections; logging and routing docs were also corrected (removal of an unrelated cert-resolver error, routing rule syntax notes, and a duplicated ServersTransport options table in the CRD reference).
Upgrade notes
- No breaking changes are listed in the release notes; perform your usual upgrade testing and consult the GitHub release for compatibility details and any CRD refresh steps.
- If you need to roll back, revert to the previous v3.7.x tag and follow the repository’s rollback instructions linked from the release notes.
