Traefik | v3.7.9

Traefik v3.7.9 released on 24-07-2026

Traefik v3.7.9 is out now. Kubernetes users and operators running Ingress‑NGINX or CONNECT tunnels will benefit from fixes and clearer migration notes that reduce routing and tunnel edge-cases.

See the GitHub release notes and the migration guide for full details; the migration guide is at https://doc.traefik.io/traefik/v3.7/migrate/v3/#v379.

What’s in this release

  • Fix for redirect when using use-regex in the IngressNGINX provider and a typo correction for the nginx annotation proxy-buffer-numbers.
  • Server-side CONNECT handling and stability improvements: defer sending the CONNECT payload until the backend accepts the tunnel, discard CONNECT bodies during forward-auth, reject CONNECT with the fast proxy, and avoid re-adding CONNECT requests to internal pools.
  • Middleware and dependency updates: Zstd support disabled in the gzhttp wrapper and google.golang.org/grpc bumped to v1.82.1; Gateway API generated service-name changes documented in the migration guide.

Upgrade notes

  • Read the migration guide for Gateway API service-name changes and the migration note on CONNECT request behaviour: migration guide.
  • If your setup depends on previous CONNECT behaviour or Zstd compression, test the upgrade in staging and be prepared to roll back to your pinned release if required.

Share your experience with the upgrade or any issues you encounter on the project’s issue tracker or community channels.
