Uptime Kuma 2.4.0 released on 31-05-2026

Uptime Kuma 2.4.0 is out now. It adds new notification providers (EgoSMS for Uganda and a VKTeams bot), lets incidents appear in the RSS feed and introduces bearer-token support across monitors so users can reach new regions and run authenticated checks.
See the project’s GitHub releases page and the updated documentation for full details and upgrade instructions.
What’s in this release
- New notification providers: EgoSMS (an SMS provider for Uganda) and a VKTeams bot notification provider.
- Incidents can now be included in the RSS feed, allowing incident updates to be consumed by feed readers and integrations.
- Bearer-token support added across monitors (including WebSocket upgrade monitors) and an optional token field for gamedig monitors to improve authenticated checks and game-server queries.
Upgrade notes
- Security: an authenticated/admin-only Remote Code Execution vulnerability from an upstream dependency was addressed — administrators should upgrade and follow the maintainers’ guidance; further details will be published by the project.
- A docker-only Let’s Encrypt Gen Y root certificate change has been marked to be ignored (no action required). If you need to roll back for any reason, revert to an earlier release tag from the project’s GitHub.
