Uptime Kuma 2.5.4 released on 11-09-2026

Uptime Kuma 2.5.4 is out now. Administrators can add three new notification providers (Signalgrid, Notify! and Amoot SMS), monitor SFTP endpoints with password or private-key authentication, and pick up a set of UX, bug and security fixes that improve stability and correctness.

See the project’s GitHub release page for full notes, contributor credits and installation instructions.

What’s in this release

  • Three new notification providers: Signalgrid, Notify! and Amoot SMS (Amoot for SMS delivery).
  • New SFTP monitor type that supports both password and private-key authentication.
  • UX, bug and security work: hide/show password toggle on the login page; fixes for real-browser context leaks, iOS PWA icon background, swapped ping timeout ceilings, MariaDB pool initialisation and discarded accepted-status-code ranges; jsonata bumped to 2.2.2 to address CVE-2026-77415; translation updates from Weblate.

Upgrade notes

  • No breaking changes reported; upgrade is recommended to obtain the security fix that bumps jsonata to 2.2.2 (see PR #7838 and CVE-2026-77415).
  • No special rollback steps provided — revert to a prior release using the repository’s release assets on GitHub if needed.

Share feedback on GitHub about how the update performs in your environment so maintainers and contributors can follow up.
