Vector v0.57.0 released on 14-07-2026

Vector v0.57.0 is out now. It is a security-first release from the COSE team that introduces security hardenings and fixes and intentionally includes breaking changes to close vulnerabilities and harden defaults.

Upgrade notes
- Several breaking changes are included; read the release notes and changelog, identify affected configurations and integrations, test the upgrade in staging, migrate or update configuration where required, run smoke tests and prepare a rollback plan before upgrading production.
