HomeAssistant Core 2026.9.4 released on 27-09-2026

HomeAssistant Core 2026.9.4 is out now. It fixes several integration issues and refines behaviour across discovery, setup, logging and state/attribute correctness.

See the release notes on the Home Assistant Core GitHub for full details and upgrade instructions.

What’s in this release

  • Tuya fans now turn off when the speed is set to 0% and various integration issues have been addressed.
  • The HTTP security filter’s scan-cost calculation now tracks request target length to improve scan-cost accounting.
  • Dependency bumps for integrations: pyenphase (Enphase Envoy), imgw_pib and python-xbox for bug fixes and compatibility improvements.

Upgrade notes

  • No breaking changes reported; review the full release notes on the Home Assistant Core GitHub for any integration-specific guidance.
  • If you encounter issues after upgrading, revert to your previous Home Assistant Core release using your usual update or rollback procedure.

Share any problems or insights on the project’s GitHub or drop a note where you discuss Home Assistant — feedback helps catch anything the release notes do not cover.
